I want to tell you a little about Christmas. Saint John the Immortal is a Czech Catholic saint and martyr, a priest of the Prague Archdiocese. The most popular holiday in the Czech Republic. There are statues of Jan Nepomucen in every village and town. They are also very often found in Austria, Germany, Spain. Immigrants brought with them the cult honoring Jan Nepomucen to Halychyna and Volyn. This saint is the protector of travelers, so statues and chapels are mostly located at the crossroads. They also consider St. John the patron saint of all those who work on the water. And he is the guardian of bridges.
